Logan Turned One Year's Old!!

The year of 2020 sure has had a lot of obstacles but Our family will remember it for the year God brought us a blessing child. After having two miscarriages and not wanting to get pregnant again due to chance of another miscarriage and me getting “old” God had a different plan. I remember having to give God the baby in my stomach so many times because I couldn’t carry the worry myself. God more than answered our prayers in a healthy baby boy that we are so thankful for. The Covid shutdown has had many drawbacks but one thing it did allow for was a slower year for us to enjoy the little things of having a baby in the house. This year would have looked much different if all the sports had been full swing with the girls. Logan is his mama’s boy sometimes but oh how he loves his Daddy! Logan is crawling everywhere really fast but not quite walking. He has taken 6 steps so far. He can say mama, dada, nana, and bye-bye. He loves food and makes a real funny noise when he is about to eat something he likes. He loves steering wheels and anything that looks like a tool. Addison and Kaitlyn love their “bubby”! They look forward to seeing him when they come into the door and they are a big help to me. Jesus, we thank you for our blessing and we dedicate this child to you and commit to bringing him up in the way of your Word.

Well I can't believe Addison is 17 months old and Kaitlyn is a few days away from being 2 months old! We are all doing well. Addison is saying more and more words. She pretty much tries to repeat most of the words we say. Josh just keeps saying "She is so much fun". Addison is becoming more of a daddy's girl since I am always nursing Kaitlyn or picking up the house. She says "Dada" much more than "Mama." She now calls my father Papa and my mom Mimi. My father came up this weekend and if any of you know my father, of course, he bought us doughnuts. And Addison definitely knows the word doughnuts due to my dad. I am having to look for winter clothes for Addison so I am on the hunt for cheap winter outfits for her. Clothes are so expensive! 1 Year Old Birthday Party

I can't believe Addison is a year old today!! She had a wonderful turnout at her birthday party this past Saturday. I believe there were over 35 people total that came! She got many clothes, toys and socks. We are so thankful for all of her gifts. Tonight Josh and I took her to Cracker Barrell so she could have a pancake on her actual birthday. We sang "Happy Birthday" to her many times today and each time she smiled really big at us while we sang to her. Isn't this sweet! Addison with her aunt Kim. This is 4 generations and Addison was reaching for her aunt Kim. Here she wasn't being shy anymore. This was her personal cake and she wasn't sure if she could touch it. The Beach Trip

We went to Garden City Beach, SC for a week at Memorial Day with Mimi, Papa, Aunt Amanda and Uncle Ted, and Aunt Miranda and Uncle Brock. We had a blast! We got to stay in a nice beach house within walking distance of the beach and it was perfect. Addison loved the beach. She didn't mind the sand one bit. She was a little skittish of the ocean but loved the pool! Addison is getting around very fast now. She can walk very well especially with her new little Saucony tennis shoes I got her. She is on cow's milk now but we are still working on getting off the sippy cup. Any suggestions are appreciated. We are now preparing for baby sister Kaitlyn Leigh to arrive. We have about 8 1/2 more weeks till she should get here. I know it will be here before we know it. We have two white cribs in the nursery now and had to move out the rocker.
