Addison's Baby Dedication

We finally did Addison's Baby Dedication at church on today. Josh's parents said "They were going to have to dedicate her if we didn't"as a result of seeing other babies much younger than Addison getting dedicated every Sunday. She joked that she knew we really weren't heathern parents but... We picked a dress out for her to wear and we actually had to get to church before service started since the baby dedications are held right before the service. We made it on time and were even early! Nannie and Papa Bill came up from Greenville, SC and aunt Jenny came up from Atlanta, GA to see us dedicate Addison to the Lord. Josh and I have a very strong committment to bring Addison up in a Christian home and desire to be the parents God wants us to be. You will notice in the video that Addison has recently learned to wave and give "high five". Watch closely to her hands and listen to the congregation. She was a hoot during her dedication. It made ...

I Guess I Should Put on Here that I am ...

Pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I keep forgetting to put on here that I am pregnant. I am almost 19 weeks. We found out last week that we are having a girl and we are very excited. Josh's comment was "I guess we will be going for number three then to have our boy" I told him we will have to wait and see :) So far the pregnancy is going well. I have been more sick this pregnancy but still not bad.

Addison's First Real Snow

Image
It snowed here last Sunday and Addison got her first real snow. We got about 5-6 inches. It was so pretty! Josh and I decided to take Addison out Sunday evening because we knew we would have to work Monday and wouldn't be able to enjoy the day at home playing. She really did have a lot of fun. Addison sleding for the first time!! Addison sliding down a small hill in the side of our yard. She just smiled.... Daddy and his little girl, I promise she was having fun even though she doesn't look too happy. Thanks to Nannie Addison had a snow suit to wear. The only problem was that she really couldn't stand or sit by herself. In this picture I think she thought she was going to crawl and then she ended up on her poor little face. She didn't cry though.

10 Months Old!!

Well I know that it has been a very long time since a post. We have been busy but our internet was also down for a short while. Since I posted last, Addison has had her first real hair cut, she has learned to crawl very fast, she has stood a few times without holding out on to anything, she stayed with her grandparents for a whole weekend without mama and daddy, she has learned to fuss when she gets told "no mam", she has learned how to pull her mobile down from her crib, she has learned how to climb stairs and I am sure many other things... Notice the water on the floor. Addison turned over the big dog water bowl then played in the water !! She never stops now and is always getting into something. Addison flying up the steps. Addison's first hair cut! You can see her two top teeth here in this picture! Addison's first introduction to stairs at Aunt Amanda's. She learned how to climb them very fast! Addison playing with her walker that is just like Ainslee...
