Addison Lane, Kaitlyn Leigh, Logan Grant and Weston Kenneth

Well, I know it has been forever since I have wrote anything on the blog. We have been very busy lately. Especially as Addison is getting more mobile, I can't just sit here on the computer while she lays on the floor. She is on her way to get into something every minute. She has gotten a total of 4 ornaments off the Christmas tree. Not too bad. Today was the first day that she crawled for quite a ways without falling on her belly. Most of the following pictures are from our trip to TX over Thanksgiving break. We loved staying with Jason, Cara and Ainslee. For Addison's first Halloween she was a Lady Bug. This is what her daddy wanted her to be. We bought 3 costumes in the process of finally finding a lady bug outfit. Thanks to Toni, my boss, for finding one. It was a little big for her, but it worked. Kim said her hat made her look like a little Russian girl. We ended up just handing out candy at our house and trick or treating at the neighbors. Aren't the little black shoes so cute and perfect for her lady bug outfit. They came all the way from Texas. Chris and Bethany Knox sent them from TX to NC for Addison.

Addison and Ella This was Addison when she started on her trip to get to Ella Addison is now pulling herself across the floor. She was able to get to her friend Ella who is 2 weeks older than her. Just after her bath at Aunt Amanda's Hello Mama! We went to Gatlinburg, TN with Kim and Don, then the next weekend included all of the wedding festivities for Brock and Miranda and then this past weekend we were off to Boone, NC to visit Aunt Amanda and Uncle Ted.

I can't believe Addison is 5 months old! Sorry I have no pictures. I need to take one of her for her 5 month picture. I will work on that this weekend. Addison is talking all the time and she is grabbing for everything. If you have her in your lap while you are eating, you better keep the plate far away from you. We had Brock and Miranda's wedding shower this past weekend at our house. It was a lot of fun. Addison stayed in her aunt Pat's and great grandmother's arms the whole time. Her great grandmother also got to give her a bath. Josh is bringing home her first pictures from Olan Mills tonight and I can't wait to see them! Addison is rolling over from her back to her tummy and tummy to back all the time now. This is how she gets around on the floor.

Frank and Linda had never been there. This past Friday we went to the fair. It was Addison's first trip to the fair. She loved looking at all the lights on the rides and the huge bulls. We had a blast people watching, eating jumbo turkey legs, hot apple cobbler and ice cream , potato rounds and of course sweet tea! It was Addison's first time in her big stroller without the car seat . She loved sitting up watching everything with her mouth open. Addison has started this new thing where she tries to blow bubbles and make noise with her mouth at the same time. I...

Back to the Atlanta Trip, We went down to Greenville, SC on Thursday night and stayed with Chesney and Chad. Friday, morning we met Josh's parents and my parents at Cracker Barrell. We then headed to the outlets north of Atlanta, and of course I had money to spend but could not find anything I liked (or really may have been I didn't want to pay that much for) Josh made an agreement with me that if I got all my pregnancy weight off he would give me $400 - $500 to spend on clothes. I did spend some money on clothes but ended up sharing my amount with Josh and of course Addison. I got her the cutest diaper bag with her initials on it... We stayed at Lake Lenier and had a blast! Brock and Jenny came also. And it was great getting to spend time with them. As far as Addison goes, she is changing everyday. Addison is now 4 months old! She turned 4 months old last Thursday, the 21st. So, for her 4 month old birthday I decided to run/walk in a 5k! I am so crazy for doing this! Just so you know I did finish but I had to walk a good bit. It was an adventure race in Spruce Pine, NC. We ran through the river 4 times and run uphill for a mile. On Saturday, Addison discovered how to put her feet in her mouth. Now she is doing it all the time! Addison had her 4 month old doctor's appt today. She weighed 14.1 pounds and was 26 inches long. She is in the 50% in weight and the 100% in height. She got four shots today and she did not care for them too much. She cried for about 15 minutes, I was heartbroken. We are going to Atlanta this weekend with the grandparents and are real excited.

She turned over on her tummy a few weeks ago for the first time. I didn't get a picture of it b/c I was too slow. She has discovered her thumb! I have come to the realization that I can't be at her side 24 hours of the day so I am trying to get over her sucking her thumb. Her hand/eye coordination is increasing. She is grabbing for things such as my hair, things on the table in front of her and her dragon flies on her bouncer chair. She is increasing the time ...
