Addison Lane, Kaitlyn Leigh, Logan Grant and Weston Kenneth

  We took Addison  to the Asheville Christmas Parade this past Saturday.  Nana kept Kaitlyn since she was all over the place when we took her to the Apple Festival Parade a few months ago.  We thought this would be good time for her and Nana and good time for mommy and daddy with just Addison.  I think she had a really good time.  If you asked her what she saw at the parade, she said, “the band (marching band), fire truck, and candy.” Yes she loved getting the candy that they handed out.  She was so cute because she would hold her little hands out for them to put candy in her hand and then they may walk by and give her some or not.  And I felt so sorry for her when they would pass her by but I know that’s life and she will not always get what she wants even if its just candy and that is actually good for her to experience.   On Sunday it was uncle Jeff’s birthday and both of the girls love their uncle Jeff!  He let them share in...

Boy how time flies! Kaitlyn had her 15 month check up today and poor thing has a double ear infection.  Both of the girls have been sick for the last few days.  Addison thankfully did not have an ear infection.  We went ahead and killed a  few birds with one stone today at the doctor’s office  by getting in Kaitlyn’s 15 month check up, Kaitlyn sickness check  and Addison sickness check and a flu shot for each of them.  Kaitlyn weighed 23 and 12/16 pounds and was 32.5 inches long and Addison weighed 29 10/16 pounds and was 39 inches long.  The doc tor said Kaitlyn was right on track and for us to slowly take the pacifier away from her.   The doctor also confirmed it is time to commit to potty training Addison so Ah!!!!  if anyone has any suggestions please share!  I am off work next Wednesday and go back the following Tuesday so I am thinking this would be a good time.  Addison and Kaitlyn have become quite the funny pair...

Well I don't have time to post pictures but I thought I would write a little about the girls. Kaitlyn is now 13 months and Addison is almost 2 1/2. Recently the girls have started playing with each other more. Addison has grabbed Kaitlyn's hand and pulled her different places. Kaitlyn still loves any attention Addison gives her. Tonight Jeff was holding both girls and Addison told Jeff Mama wants Kaitlyn, Mama hold Kaitlyn. She didn't want uncle Jeff to hold Kailtyn also. I think Kaitlyn really loves her uncle Jeff because she just chills out when he holds her. It is really sweet to watch her with him. Addison cracks us up some of her sayings. She is always singing a song or saying a nursery rhyme that I don't know. I finally googled some nursery ryhmes the other day so I could say them with her. She started singing this song the other night that goes like this "Jesus is our friend today, clap your hand, and shout horray!" It was such a blessing to...
