Bringing Logan Home

I had Logan on Thursday and we went home that Saturday mid - afternoon.  Even though we already had two little girls, we were a little nervous to put Logan in the car seat.  We wanted to make sure we had him in there right.

When we pulled up to the house, we were surprised with balloons on the mailbox and a clean and decorated house.  The girls were super excited about their baby brother coming home and asked Mimi and Poppy to get them some things to decorate the house.  The girls had cleaned the house with the help of Mimi and Poppy.  My dad even vacuumed and wiped down the front door from Remi's paw prints.  Speaking of Remi, she got to meet her new addition to her family.  Josh brought home one of Logan's hospital blankets the day before to introduce Logan's smell.  Overall, she did really well with him.  Her biggest adjustment to Logan was her not getting all of the attention anytime we had a visitor come over.

Uncle Jeff, Nana and Aunt Jenny came to visit us at home our first day.  They brought us food from Hot Dog World.  (Yummy!) We had quite a few visitors over the next few days.

First Time at a Restaurant - Of course it was Papas and Beer - Mexican!! We checked on him the whole time we were eating. It was just the three of us. The girls were in school.

This is a baby picture of Josh. I think there is a lot of resemblance.

Mama's best friend and second mom to the my children - Mrs. Kim

Another good friend of Mama's - Meredith, Lane and Lauren. They were so excited to meet Logan!

Mimi and Poppy stayed with us two different weeks in the beginning.  We were very thankful!

And then there is Remi who you can tell loves little Logan but is very jealous of the attention he is getting.

Skin to Skin Time- We were pretty regular at getting this in.

Daddy zonked out.  Josh took off a week of work after Logan was born.  Logan wasn't up that much at night but it seemed to be putting a toil on Josh.  When Logan did wake up in the night, we did let him fall asleep on chests many times before laying him back down in his bassinet.  Josh did do some grocery shopping for us and a few other chores that was out of the ordinary.
