Addison Lane, Kaitlyn Leigh, Logan Grant and Weston Kenneth

Well I thought I would post some pictures before Miss Kaitlyn gets here because once she gets here I am not sure how often I will be posting pictures. Feel free anyone to encourage me to post new pictures. We celebrated Josh's grandmother's 89th Birthday this past Sunday so I have included some pictures of the occassion. Aunt Kim with Addison I had to take a picture of Addison wearing this hat! I thought it was hilarious. Her uncle Ted (Amanda's husband) was keeping her entertained while I was helping Amanda register at Target so he decided to try hats on her. Addison in her sun hat that I could not resist buying at Wal-mart the other day Hiding beside the chair with the tv remote She enjoyed playing with Great Grandaddy's walker :) I thought this one was sweet. Addison wanted to dig right into the cake so we had to push the cake far enough away from her so she couldn't reach it.

Addison is almost 15 months old and is officially off the bottle. Mission is partly accomplished. You see she doesn't necessarily hold the sippy cup herself everytime. Although, she is getting a little better each day. Addison amazes me each day with something new she does. I told her to go get daddy up one day this past week and she went straight from the kitchen to our bedroom, put her arms up on our bed and said " Daddy, Daddy." She has also started putting her books back up when I have told her to. Oh and how she loves her books. She loves to crawl up in any one's lap and for you to read to her. Her uncle Jeff has taught her where her belly button is. So if you ask her, " Where is your belly button Addison?" She pulls up her shirt and points to her belly button. We went to Garden City Beach, SC for a week at Memorial Day with Mimi, Papa, Aunt Amanda and Uncle Ted, and Aunt Miranda and Uncle Brock. We had a blast! We got to stay in a nice beach house within walking distance of the beach and it was perfect. Addison loved the beach. She didn't mind the sand one bit. She was a little skittish of the ocean but loved the pool! Addison is getting around very fast now. She can walk very well especially with her new little Saucony tennis shoes I got her. She is on cow's milk now but we are still working on getting off the sippy cup. Any suggestions are appreciated. We are now preparing for baby sister Kaitlyn Leigh to arrive. We have about 8 1/2 more weeks till she should get here. I know it will be here before we know it. We have two white cribs in the nursery now and had to move out the rocker. Addison is all over the place now. She can walk very fast around the whole house. She has ran from me a few times. Addison has just gotten over being sick for a week with diarreah and vommitting. I believe she has gotten a little too used to us holding her while she has been sick so I believe we will have to slowly remind her that she is fine playing by herself. I wanted to post more pictures but something happened with this post. She loved her Mimi and Mr. Peter Rabbit This was just one of her Easter baskets. Addison in her Easter dress. I can't believe Addison is a year old today!! She had a wonderful turnout at her birthday party this past Saturday. I believe there were over 35 people total that came! She got many clothes, toys and socks. We are so thankful for all of her gifts. Tonight Josh and I took her to Cracker Barrell so she could have a pancake on her actual birthday. We sang "Happy Birthday" to her many times today and each time she smiled really big at us while we sang to her. Isn't this sweet! Addison with her aunt Kim.
