Fall of 2023-New school year and a baby is coming!

 Addison started high school and Kaitlyn entered 7th grade this year! Logan is continuing at Hendersonville!s First Baptist Mother’s Morning Out Program. 

Kaitlyn made the Rugby Middle Volleyball team and Addison made the west henderson cross country team. 

We traveled a lot with Addison’s Cross country team as her meets were all far away.   We learned that this was due to how good their team was.  They needed to go farther to get more competition.   She did great! There were only two freshman girls on the team.  They started training in early August and ran in Pisgah National Forest for training.   

Kaitlyn enjoyed her volleyball season although it got cut short due to her getting a concussion. She hit the ground with her at volleyball practice and then again in drama.  She had to sit out for over 2 weeks until she had no more blurred vision or headaches.  This caused her to miss her last few games.  

Logan enjoys Mothers Morning Out.  He goes on Tuesdays when Nana goes to Bible Study.  He has never cried when dropping off.  Nana is the one that picks him up and many times she brings  a snack to pick him up in case he  falls asleep on the way home  

Nana moved Logan to a Toddler Bed at her house and he has done well.  This was in preparation for Weston’s crib to be in her room. 

Logan still loves boots and tools and his John Deere Hat.  He loves his sisters and he loves his two friends Sabra and Cammie.   He does not have a lot of interest on potty training.  Logan is a big trooper when we go to the sporting events of his sisters.   He did get sick on the way to two of the events in the car.  I think he gets a touch of car sickness.   

Josh took  new job in September with a company called Old Castle APG.   They recruited him and it seems like a better fit.   It is less hours and more of getting out in the public. 


We went to visit Aunt Amanda’s new second home in Blowing Rock for the weekend and enjoyed getting in the hot tub.

Weston is 2 Years’s old & Hurricane Helene

Weston started preschool for the first time in August. We were nervous about him biting other children as he bites an often. He will bite our shoulders when things do lot go his way. He enjoys going to nursery at church and childcare at the YMCA so we were hopeful he would enjoy it. So far he has done great! I did get a notice from the school that he had been bit by another child. I had to read it twice to make sure I read it right but I did. Weston is very outgoing and likes interacting with the people he is around.   Weston still doesn’t use many words but it is increasing at a slow rate.  He can say Mama, Dada, Go, Bubble, Ball, Hello, Up, Hi, and Out.  We have started him in speech therapy.  Weston is starting to be more of a daddy’s boy. Boy How Time Flies!

Well I can't believe Addison is 17 months old and Kaitlyn is a few days away from being 2 months old! We are all doing well. Addison is saying more and more words. She pretty much tries to repeat most of the words we say. Josh just keeps saying "She is so much fun". Addison is becoming more of a daddy's girl since I am always nursing Kaitlyn or picking up the house. She says "Dada" much more than "Mama." She now calls my father Papa and my mom Mimi. My father came up this weekend and if any of you know my father, of course, he bought us doughnuts. And Addison definitely knows the word doughnuts due to my dad. I am having to look for winter clothes for Addison so I am on the hunt for cheap winter outfits for her. Clothes are so expensive! Kaitlyn is growing out of all of her newborn size clothes but I keep putting them on her because I know she will never wear these cute outfits ever again. She has started cooing and she smiles a lot. 1 Year Old Birthday Party

I can't believe Addison is a year old today!! She had a wonderful turnout at her birthday party this past Saturday. I believe there were over 35 people total that came! She got many clothes, toys and socks. We are so thankful for all of her gifts. Tonight Josh and I took her to Cracker Barrell so she could have a pancake on her actual birthday. We sang "Happy Birthday" to her many times today and each time she smiled really big at us while we sang to her. Isn't this sweet! Addison with her aunt Kim. This is 4 generations and Addison was reaching for her aunt Kim. Here she wasn't being shy anymore. This was her personal cake and she wasn't sure if she could touch it.
