Addison Lane, Kaitlyn Leigh, Logan Grant and Weston Kenneth

Addison loving on Sissy Kaitlyn kept trying to eat Camden's hands We had a baby shower for Molly and little Maddox on Saturday. I took Kaitlyn so Josh wouldn't have to watch both girls. Kaitlyn got to play with her beautiful friend Camden. First time I found Kaitlyn on her tummy when I went to get her up from a nap. Kaitlyn sucking on her toes Kaitlyn in the outfit her aunt Jenny got her Addison eating her first chicken leg. She seemed to really enjoy the chicken and biscuits that Nannie and Papa Bill brought to the house when they came to visit. Josh and Kaitlyn Addison and her ice cream . She goes to the kitchen and gets her spoon and then the carton of ice cream out of the freezer and will eat right out of the carton. Then we have to tell her that she can only have one bite. Kaitlyn and I went to visit aunt Amanda last weekend in Boone for the last time that she will be living there. She, Ted and Claire are moving back to Wilmington. My mom and dad were already in Boone with her so it was a family trip but without Addison and Josh. Addison stayed here with Daddy so that Aunt Jenny could see her since she was coming into town. We went up Friday night and came back Sunday afternoon for Jenny's birthday dinner at 4 at the Simpson's. I was very ready to see my miss Addison on Sunday afternoon although she wouldn't have much to do with me as long as Jenny was around. She loves her aunt Jenny. While I was in Boone on Saturday night I got a phone call that Addison was sick and had a fever of over a 100 degrees. I hated to get that call and be that far away. Then I got another phone call that it had jumped to 103.4 which really scared me. Josh's mom called the nurse and they said to give her some motrin and then wait 45 minutes and see if it went ...

Well this last month has flown by! It has been really busy and packed with trips, Christmas, New Years... I did enjoy the few days I got off for Christmas to spend more time with the girls. I believe Addison really enjoyed this Christmas. She really got the hang of opening presents. I believe she got to open presents for 7 days straight from the ones my aunt Doris sent in the mail that got here early to ones that she opened from family a few days after Christmas. Also Addison has really increased her vocabulary. She pretty much tries to say everything. She still loves us reading her books. She now commands us to "sit" on the couch and then she brings us a book. She does the same with her play kitchen. She tells us to "sit" right in front of her kitchen for us to play with her. We have to tell her no sometimes so she learns we can't always do whatever she wants us to do... :) She is getting a little more interactive with Kaitlyn sometimes in a good way and someti...

Well I am back to work now. I started last Tuesday. It was a long day but I never got anxious thanks to our precious Lord. Thank you everyone for your prayers, calls, and comments on Facebook. The only time I cried was on Monday and that was just once. My schedule goes like this: wake up at 5:30 am, take a quick shower and get ready, wake up Kaitlyn and nurse her at 6:00 am, then pump, then play with her for about ten minutes, then get my lunch and Addison and I's breakfast made, get all of my breastmilk pump bottles ready for the day, get Addison up around 7:00 - 7:15am and feed her, eat my breakfast, play with her for about 10 minutes, get the diaper bag ready to go, get Kaitlyn in her carseat, grab everything and get in the car by 7:40 am to take the girls to the Simpson's in Etowah in hopes to get to work by 8:25 am.. I wanted to take Addison to the parade this year because I thought she would have fun watching the floats and bands. And I was right she did have a good time. My mom came up this past Thursday to help with the girls so I could go to Bible Study Thursday night and then to watch them while I got a list of stuff done in the house before I go back to work. With the help of my mom I got all of our clothes caught up, our blinds shortened, blog updated, all of our furniture dusted, toys cleaned out, hair cut... I asked my mom to stay till Saturday so she could go with me to the parade to help with Kaitlyn so I could focus on Addison. Josh had to work the parade so that is why we usually go to the Asheville parade. I think Addison had a lot of fun. She was a little unsure about it at first but then she warmed up to it.
