Logan goes through spurts of working out

We are currently on our way to Destin, Florida with Nana, aunt Jenny and uncle Jeff. It has been a busy last few months. Kaitlyn finished her last year of middle school and now we will have two high schoolers!  Addison played soccer in the spring and Kaitlyn did track. Kaitlyn beat the school record in the shot put.  Kaitlyn finished up travel ball in April.  We took a family trip to Gatlinburg for Kaitlyn’s volleyball game and Addison’s 16th birthday. Nana, Jeff, Mimi, Poppy, Claire and Zyler came.   We had a blast.  For Addison’s birthday, Josh, Addison, Claire and Zyler went to Dollywood on Saturday while Kaitlyn played volleyball.

Then on Sunday, Addison had a birthday party at the house and she had about 15-20 girls come to the house.  It was a way colder day than we had hoped for so I decided to come up with some games to play inside.

We took the boys to the zoo on the day of Aunt Miranda’s baby shower in Greenville.  Weston was scared to death of the Baboon and the lions.   He would get a terrified look on his face and then start screaming. It was so funny.

Weston is still biting often. He bit two children in Sunday school one day. Thankfully it hasn’t happened again.  He is starting to drop to one nap and he sleeps really late if you let him.  He loves sweets and is starting to eat a little more.  He has began riding his bike that Mimi and poppy bought him. He can ride it really fast around the house and he rode it around the neighborhood once.  He did not let us help him once. Weston continues to be very independent and throw things when he doesn’t want them any more or he is upset.  He has learned the word “stop”.  He is saying a few more words, “Go Go”, “Hey” He will not say any words on command.  He will say “mama” when he wants something.

We went to visit Aunt Amanda in June and then we got to go to Isle of Palms with Josh on a work trip. Weston got more familiar with the water due to being at the pool a lot. Logan began swimming on his own in the baby pool and in the 3 foot water prior to his swimming lessons.  Logan has swimming lessons scheduled for July but we have missed two of them so far. Addison was able to take surf lessons while at Aunt Amanda’s.  We celebrated Josh’s 47th birthday while in Wilmington.

Addison started her first job at the Hendersonville Rescue Mission.  She makes $10 per hour and works Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 11:30 am.  Kaitlyn took her driving class at Hendersonville high school and is now on the waitlist to drive.

Now to our current vacation.  We haven’t went on a trip with Nana, Jenny and Jeff in a few years so we decided to invite them to our family vacation.  We decided to try a place that most of us had not been.  We are excited!
