Dances, Cross Country Meets and a newborn
Weston is a sweet baby boy! Weston came home and life with a family of six went into full swing.
Addison had a cross country dance to go to the first weekend. We fed Weston through a syringe in addition to nursing for about three weeks. We went to the doctors twice a week and the lactation consultant. Josh was so helpful in helping me feed Weston through the syringe as well as helping me get up and down after the C-section. Mimi helped a whole lot also after Josh went back to work. We fed Weston every 2.5 - 3 hours 24 hours a day for the first 3-4 weeks. It was quite exhausting but so worth it.
Weston grunted for the first 6 weeks with every moment. It was like he was talking through his grunts. It made us wonder if he will be a big talker. He didn’t cry hardly at all for the first two months. He would only grunt. He started crying when hungry when he was a little over two months. He isn’t crazy about a pacifier but will take the Dr. Browns pacifier some. He did not mind his first bath. Mimi helped me with that as I was nervous since he was so small. It took him over two weeks to get back to his birth weight. It was supposed to only take 10 days.
