The Start of Kaitlyn’s Travel Volleyball Season and Some Big News!

We decided to sign Kaitlyn up for travel volleyball no knowing exactly what we were getting ourselves into.  We wanted her to keep her skills up and decided we would try it.  Overall it was a lot of fun and good memories but definitely more expensive than we had anticipated.

Logan was a trooper to all of the games.  We let him run around during games and then let him watch one of our phones during the game so we could focus on Kaitlyn playing.

Addison didn’t do a winter sport so she came along for some of the games.  We found out some really surprising and exciting news in January for our family!  We found out that we were going to be having another baby!!!

We thought our family was finished but God had other plans for us! We are going to be a family of six!!

Kaitlyn actually found my pregnancy test so we told the girls earlier than expected.  We found out the sex really early also and decided to have a gender reveal party.   Both of us were surprised but felt oh so blessed as children are a blessing from above!

Logan at the neighbors!  He walked over there and then at some point took off his diaper and visited their chickens!!

Figuring out how to do an Easter Egg hunt. He stopped after getting one egg and wanted to eat the candy right then.

Hanging out in a hotel room.

We had a friends Easter Egg hunt again this year.  Apparently they are not too old!

Logan is a worker! He loves working hard in the yard or on house projects.

Mama turns 41 and celebrates at Blue Sky Restaurant with friends and family. Logan loves blowing out candles now.
We tried shaving Josh’s head completely. He kept it like this for a while then let it grow back out.

Amanda opening the cupcake but she got to laughing because she got the one that revealed the sex but she wasn’t supposed to! It was supposed to be Mimi! I had made two that had the color but the second one wasn’t supposed to get into the batch.

Look at this blessing!!! Jesus said “For I formed you in the womb…”.
This is right before we told Nana she was going to have another grandchild.  We did it at my Birthday breakfast at IHOP

We went to visit aunt Amanda and the cousins for the girls Spring Break!

We decided to tell a few friends that I was pregnant at my birthday gathering.  Only a few people knew at this point!

Logan is really into blowing out candles!

Track season started up in March.  Addison ran the 100 Hurdles, the open 400 meters and the 4x200. She cut her time down in the hurdles by a good bit.
Mimi confirmed with her cupcake that we were having a boy!! Logan will have a brother!  When Josh found out I was pregnant, he said “Logan is going to have a brother!”  And he said it so confidently and I told him you don’t know it is going to be a boy.  Josh said he knew it was going to be a boy.

Logan joined in on the donut game at our neighborhood Easter gathering.
