Logan is Already 8 Months!!!

Logan is already 8 months old! He is crawling every where! He makes the funniest noises with his lips.  He is still sleeping really good and is still in Mama and Daddy's room.  He loves his sisters and crawling to their rooms.  He would rather crawl to their rooms and see what they are doing than play with his toys in the living room.  He is pulling up on everything and surfing the furniture.  He is still taking 3 naps a day and sleeping all through the night.  He is such a smiley and content boy!  He loves to eat almost anything.  He lets you know by grunting if he wants more.  He really loves any kind of meat.  He loves it when the blanket covers his face.  He will kick his legs so hard and when you pull the cover off his face, he always has the biggest smile on his face.  I am trying not to rush any of this time.  We are so enjoying our Logan.  The girls really are good with him and love to see him right when they get home from school!  Speaking of school, the girls started two days a week back to school.  They get to go on Tuesdays and Fridays.  They have enjoyed being back and getting to interact with their friends face to face instead of just over the computer.   The Fall weather this year has been beautiful!  We went to our annual Apple Orchard and got some good pictures.  The girls are getting older now and wanted to take pictures while there.  Mimi and Poppy came to the Apple Orchard this year and we had a lot of fun!! Josh is enjoying his job at 84 Lumber and is learning a lot. 

It is getting harder and harder to get Logan to sit still to be able to do his pictures!  As you can see, he is wanting to stand!

You better take the picture quick! I am sitting still at the moment.  Look at my handsome eyes and lips!!

This is the one step in the house and it is in the office/laundry room/ Logan's room.  He can easily get up and down it now.

We always go to an Apple Orchard in the fall and do a Corn Maze and get apple donuts.  We usually take friends with us.  This year they decided they wanted to take pictures. Mimi and Poppie met us there and got to share in our tradition.

Well I can't believe Addison is 17 months old and Kaitlyn is a few days away from being 2 months old! We are all doing well. Addison is saying more and more words. She pretty much tries to repeat most of the words we say. Josh just keeps saying "She is so much fun". Addison is becoming more of a daddy's girl since I am always nursing Kaitlyn or picking up the house. She says "Dada" much more than "Mama." She now calls my father Papa and my mom Mimi. 1 Year Old Birthday Party

I can't believe Addison is a year old today!! She had a wonderful turnout at her birthday party this past Saturday. I believe there were over 35 people total that came! She got many clothes, toys and socks. We are so thankful for all of her gifts. Tonight Josh and I took her to Cracker Barrell so she could have a pancake on her actual birthday. We sang "Happy Birthday" to her many times today and each time she smiled really big at us while we sang to her. Isn't this sweet! Addison with her aunt Kim. This is 4 generations and Addison was reaching for her aunt Kim. Here she wasn't being shy anymore. This was her personal cake and she wasn't sure if she could touch it. The Beach Trip

We went to Garden City Beach, SC for a week at Memorial Day with Mimi, Papa, Aunt Amanda and Uncle Ted, and Aunt Miranda and Uncle Brock. We had a blast! We got to stay in a nice beach house within walking distance of the beach and it was perfect. Addison loved the beach. She didn't mind the sand one bit. She was a little skittish of the ocean but loved the pool! Addison is getting around very fast now. She can walk very well especially with her new little Saucony tennis shoes I got her. She is on cow's milk now but we are still working on getting off the sippy cup. Any suggestions are appreciated. We are now preparing for baby sister Kaitlyn Leigh to arrive. We have about 8 1/2 more weeks till she should get here. I know it will be here before we know it. We have two white cribs in the nursery now and had to move out the rocker.
