Well I can't believe it is the end of summer! Today is Labor Day and we have had a great weekend. We started it out with getting a babysitter for Friday night so Mommy and Daddy could go on a date then Saturday morning we went to work out together and then went to try some scones at Flat Rock Bakery. They were great just like we had heard! Then we went home and got some things done around the house that we had been meaning to. Next we went over to Nana and Poppies' to celebrate Nana's birthday. Then on Sunday we went to church and Sunday School where Kaitlyn had her first bloody incident. She fell while walking with a plastic spoon in the nursery and cut her gum pretty good. The EMT said there really wasn't anything we could do for it but let it heal since it was in her mouth. She got two pop sickles out of it and was fine. Next we headed down to Travelers Rest, SC with the girls and Joseph and Kelly to go on the 23 mile bike ride to downtown Greenville. We wanted to try out our bike trailer for the girls that I bought recently at the garage sale. We met my mom, dad and brother down there and they rode with us. I was a little nervous about my mom but she did awesome! She almost made it the whole way but she fell pretty hard on the way back and didn't finish the last mile or two but we were still impressed! The girls loved their "buggy" And I know Josh loved it pulling it back up 11 miles back to Travelers Rest since it was an added 50-60 pounds. Oh I can't forget to mention that it flew out of our utility trailer on the way back up the mountain. Josh and Joseph were able to rescue it but it does have a few rug burns on it. (Jason and Cara sound familiar?) We made it back home, put the girls down, and watched a movie. We then woke up this morning dropped the dogs off to the groomers, headed to Crossfit, then coffee, then home for lunch and naps then off to the parade! Now we are back from the parade and the girls are supposed to be napping but I still hear them awake so this post may take a few days!

So that was our Labor Day weekend. As far as the last two months, Kaitlyn started walking and drinking milk out of sippy cups. Kaitlyn turned one year old and we had her birthday party! Addison went away for a weekend away from us to visit aunt Jenny with Nana and Poppie. Addison then went to the Crossfit games with us in Woodstock, GA while Kaitlyn stayed up here. Lily, our dog, was poisined with anti-freeze when she got out of the fence and quite a few dollars later she is doing okay though! We are still working on potty training with Addison. We need to committ but we haven't yet. Addison has put together some interesting phrases. Kaitlyn's personality has came out with full force.

So glad to see new pictures, I can't believe how big the girls have gotten! They are beautiful! I was just thinking about the flying stroller incident the other day, weird! :)
