Almost 4 months old

I was in the kitchen when Addison pulled the blue ring. I was so proud of her when I heard it make the noise once she pulled it. Now she pulls it all the time.

Well I can't believe Addison is almost 4 months old on Thursday! She has had a few milestones since the last post. She turned over on her tummy a few weeks ago for the first time. I didn't get a picture of it b/c I was too slow. She has discovered her thumb! I have come to the realization that I can't be at her side 24 hours of the day so I am trying to get over her sucking her thumb. Her hand/eye coordination is increasing. She is grabbing for things such as my hair, things on the table in front of her and her dragon flies on her bouncer chair. She is increasing the time between feedings. She is currently eating every four hours and is going to sleep around 8:30 pm. I am waking her up at 6:45 to feed her and spend some time with her before I go to work. She is a great baby in my opinion. Our weekends have been busy. Gotta go, 200 meter race of the olympics is on.

Oh Laura - I can not believe Miss Addison is ... WOW!!! I'm glad I showed you where the music thing was on her gym ... remember? ha ha ha If not I'm sure Miss Addison would of eventually let you know how it worked!!

Weston started preschool for the first time in August. We were nervous about him biting other children as he bites an often. He will bite our shoulders when things do lot go his way. He enjoys going to nursery at church and childcare at the YMCA so we were hopeful he would enjoy it. So far he has done great! I did get a notice from the school that he had been bit by another child. I had to read it twice to make sure I read it right but I did. Boy How Time Flies!

Well I can't believe Addison is 17 months old and Kaitlyn is a few days away from being 2 months old! We are all doing well. Addison is saying more and more words. She pretty much tries to repeat most of the words we say. Josh just keeps saying "She is so much fun". Addison is becoming more of a daddy's girl since I am always nursing Kaitlyn or picking up the house. She says "Dada" much more than "Mama." She now calls my father Papa and my mom Mimi. My father came up this weekend and if any of you know my father, of course, he bought us doughnuts. And Addison definitely knows the word doughnuts due to my dad. I am having to look for winter clothes for Addison so I am on the hunt for cheap winter outfits for her. Clothes are so expensive! Kaitlyn is growing out of all of her newborn size clothes but I keep putting them on her because I know she will never wear these cute outfits ever again. She has started cooing and she smiles a lot. 1 Year Old Birthday Party

I can't believe Addison is a year old today!! She had a wonderful turnout at her birthday party this past Saturday. I believe there were over 35 people total that came! She got many clothes, toys and socks. We are so thankful for all of her gifts. Tonight Josh and I took her to Cracker Barrell so she could have a pancake on her actual birthday. We sang "Happy Birthday" to her many times today and each time she smiled really big at us while we sang to her. Isn't this sweet! Addison with her aunt Kim. This is 4 generations and Addison was reaching for her aunt Kim. Here she wasn't being shy anymore. This was her personal cake and she wasn't sure if she could touch it. She petted it for a while and finally she ate some after I started feeding it to her. Addison and her very loved uncle Jeff. Notice how content she is in his arms.
