1 Year Old Birthday Party

Image
I can't believe Addison is a year old today!! She had a wonderful turnout at her birthday party this past Saturday. I believe there were over 35 people total that came! She got many clothes, toys and socks. We are so thankful for all of her gifts. Tonight Josh and I took her to Cracker Barrell so she could have a pancake on her actual birthday. We sang "Happy Birthday" to her many times today and each time she smiled really big at us while we sang to her. Isn't this sweet! Addison with her aunt Kim. This is 4 generations and Addison was reaching for her aunt Kim. Here she wasn't being shy anymore. This was her personal cake and she wasn't sure if she could touch it. She petted it for a while and finally she ate some after I started feeding it to her. Addison and her very loved uncle Jeff. Notice how content she is in his arms. She also loved the train her uncle Jeff got her. She loved her chair she got from her aunt Nancy. Addison and her great grandm...

Well, I can't believe Addison is almost a year old!!!!!!!!!!!!! She gets more fun each day. She is getting more steady on her feet each day also. The most steps she has taken is about 15. She is sick right now along with mama. We found out on Monday that Addison had tonsillitis and then I am not sure what I have. I think it is just a head cold. Addison is taking an antiobiotic and seems to be feeling much better. Her cough doesn't sound too good but it doesn't seem to bother her. We are going today to look for plates and cups and decorations for Addison's birthday party. Josh hurt his back a few weeks ago so he would lay on the floor on a heating pad or an ice pack and then Addison would crawl all over him. She had so much fun doing this and daddy of course loved it too! Addison having a blast with a bag of lots of bags of chips. Our friends Mark and Molly came over the other night and this is their adorable little girl Madeline. And this is Addison's...

Addison's Baby Dedication

We finally did Addison's Baby Dedication at church on today. Josh's parents said "They were going to have to dedicate her if we didn't"as a result of seeing other babies much younger than Addison getting dedicated every Sunday. She joked that she knew we really weren't heathern parents but... We picked a dress out for her to wear and we actually had to get to church before service started since the baby dedications are held right before the service. We made it on time and were even early! Nannie and Papa Bill came up from Greenville, SC and aunt Jenny came up from Atlanta, GA to see us dedicate Addison to the Lord. Josh and I have a very strong committment to bring Addison up in a Christian home and desire to be the parents God wants us to be. You will notice in the video that Addison has recently learned to wave and give "high five". Watch closely to her hands and listen to the congregation. She was a hoot during her dedication. It made ...

I Guess I Should Put on Here that I am ...

Pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I keep forgetting to put on here that I am pregnant. I am almost 19 weeks. We found out last week that we are having a girl and we are very excited. Josh's comment was "I guess we will be going for number three then to have our boy" I told him we will have to wait and see :) So far the pregnancy is going well. I have been more sick this pregnancy but still not bad.

Addison's First Real Snow

Image
It snowed here last Sunday and Addison got her first real snow. We got about 5-6 inches. It was so pretty! Josh and I decided to take Addison out Sunday evening because we knew we would have to work Monday and wouldn't be able to enjoy the day at home playing. She really did have a lot of fun. Addison sleding for the first time!! Addison sliding down a small hill in the side of our yard. She just smiled.... Daddy and his little girl, I promise she was having fun even though she doesn't look too happy. Thanks to Nannie Addison had a snow suit to wear. The only problem was that she really couldn't stand or sit by herself. In this picture I think she thought she was going to crawl and then she ended up on her poor little face. She didn't cry though.

Well I know that it has been a very long time since a post. We have been busy but our internet was also down for a short while. Since I posted last, Addison has had her first real hair cut, she has learned to crawl very fast, she has stood a few times without holding out on to anything, she stayed with her grandparents for a whole weekend without mama and daddy, she has learned to fuss when she gets told "no mam", she has learned how to pull her mobile down from her crib, she has learned how to climb stairs and I am sure many other things... Notice the water on the floor. Addison turned over the big dog water bowl then played in the water !! She never stops now and is always getting into something. Addison flying up the steps. Addison's first hair cut! You can see her two top teeth here in this picture! Addison's first introduction to stairs at Aunt Amanda's. She learned how to climb them very fast! Addison playing with her walker that is just like Ainslee...

Addison on the crawl to her presents on Christmas morning Addison layed out cookies for Santa with the help of Aunt Jenny. Addison loves to crawl under and sit under her exersaucer. Getting into another cabinet. Addison in the kitchen. She loves opening the drawers and pulling out the dish towels. Well time is flying and Addison is already 8 months old. She pulled up for the first time a few days before she turned 8 months old. We were at Josh's parents and she pulled up on her walker. We were so proud of her. Since then she is pulling up on everything! Then she got her first two teeth the day before she turned 8 months old. We were at the mall when she kept holding her lips really funny so I decided to check her teeth and to my surprise there was a little sharp point coming out of her...
