More pictures from the beach

I thought this picture was hilarious! Addison fell asleep after we spent so much time putting her bathing suit on and sunscreen all over her. It wore her out.

Beach Trip

Image
Well, I know I am about 3 weeks behind but I have been adjusting to being back at work. I wanted to write about our trip to Wrightsville Beach with my mom, dad, sister and her husband. We had a great time! We mainly just slept late, went to the pool or beach and then came back to the condo and layed around till supper. It was very relaxing. Addison did wonderful! She went down for her naps really well and was very happy the whole time. It was the first time we used the Pack-in-play for her to sleep in and she did really well. Josh wasn't able to go the beach with us because he unfortunately had to work. Addison and I really missed him. Addison got to put her feet in the ocean for the first time! I think she is going to really love the beach like her mom. Amanda and mama were able to spend a lot of time with Addison and I think they were sad to leave her at the end of the week. We came back from the beach on Tuesday, July 6th and I started work that Wednesday the 7th. I was a little...

Back at Work

Well I can't believe Addison is 3 months old! Or 13 weeks whichever you prefer!!! I am back at work and have been for 2 weeks now. It has been tough being back to work without Addison for 10 hours of the day. I haven't written on here for a while due to trying to spend as much time with Addison as I can. I will get some pictures on here this weekend. I have to write about Addison's first beach trip over July 4th week.

Two Month Check Up

Addison had her two month check up today. She weighs 11 pounds, 11 ounces and is 24.9 inches long. She is in the 75th percentile for weight and the 95th percentile for length. The doctor said she was quite talkative for a 2 month old. She was gooing and awing at the doctor. I only had two questions for the doctor today unlike the last two times where I have had a whole page. Addison is gaining more head and body control each day. I took Addison to Bible Study last night and she did very well. I had her on my lap most of the time and she had fun watching the other girls. Over all she is quite a content baby.

Getting on Schedule

Well we had our first trial run at the Simpson's before I go back to work. For those who don't know, Josh's mom is going to be keeping Addison when I go back to work. Josh will be keeping her some and the rest of the time Linda will be keeping her. The trial run went well. Her first nap in the pack in play didn't go so well but the second nap went better. Linda and I gave her a bath and went over her different cries. We will have to work on Frank (Josh's father) a little. He loves to talk to her and she loves to talk to him but he just always seems to want to talk to her when she should be sleeping and then he wants her to go to sleep when she should be awake. It is really funny to watch. The next thing we are going to work on is putting Addison in and out of the car. Linda is a little nervous about it and I want her to feel very comfortable. I am so blessed that Miss Addison's grandparent's get to keep her. Addison has her two month doctor visit ...
Well, it is Thursday night at 11:30 pm and I have just created a blog for Addison. I know I am late at getting around to this but at least I have finally gotten to it. Addison is such a blessing to Josh and I. She is growing so much everyday. She is smiling a little more each day and she is also gaining more head control each day. We went to watch Josh play softball tonight and that is always fun. I believe Addison enjoys people watching while I hold her in my lap or over my shoulder. Addison is missing her friend Ainslee right now. Jason, Cara and Ainslee came to visit us last week for a full week from San Antonio, TX and now they have went home. We had a blast while they were here and now we can't wait till we get to see them next. We are blessed to have made such good friends as a result of moving to Texas. Well I really need to go get in bed. Goodnight.
